Trip Interruption Benefits and Information

If your registered Audi (owned or leased) is disabled because of a mechanical breakdown over 100 miles/160 kilometers from your residence address, and the repair is covered under your New Vehicle Limited WarrantyWarrantySee: Owner Protection Program.Warranty , you may be reimbursed for trip interruption expenses if your vehicle cannot be made safely operable the same day. Your coverage includes reimbursement for:

Lodging up to $100 per day
Meals up to $100 per day
Alternate transportation up to $100 per day

Trip interruption coverage is limited to reasonable expenses up to a maximum of $500 per disablement/incident, including all taxes and surcharges. This service is designed to assist you with some of the unplanned expenses you may incur while waiting for your vehicle to be repaired. Please note, pre-authorization for trip reimbursement by 24-Hour Roadside Assistance* is required.

Trip Interruption Reimbursement Instructions
Contact the Roadside Assistance Center (1-800-411-9988 for all models except R8. R8 Owners should contact 1-866-4R8-3456) and obtain a pre-service authorization number, within 24 hours of disablement.

Save expense receipts, such as lodging, meals, car rental.
Save vehicle repair invoice/repair order
Write a brief summary of what happened.

Submit the original expense receipts, vehicle repair invoice, the disablement summary, and your pre-authorization number within 30 days of the disablement to:
