OVERVIEW
Audi is targeting a new market segment with the all new 2012 Audi A7. A five-door coupe, the A7 is a pure high-tech vehicle with numerous lightweight aluminum components, four V6 engines combine and a sporty chassis.
EXTERIOR
The key features of the new A7 include a large, extremely usable 18.89 cu ft luggage space, LED headlights (Optional), bi-xenon headlights, LED tail lights, optional climate-control and massage functions for the front seats covered in high-grade Audi leathers, advanced MMI operating system with central menu button and reduced number of buttons, Bose sound system, adaptive cruise control with stop & go function optional advanced Sound System from Bang & Olufsen featuring 1,300 watts of power and 15 speakers.
ENGINE
The A7 is offered with a choice of four powerful and cultivated V6 engines: two gasoline and two TDI units. Their power output ranges from 204 to 300 hp. All engines use Audi's innovative thermal management system, a recuperation system and a start-stop system. Audi provides two different transmissions depending on the engines: The continuous multitronic sends the power to the front wheels, while the sporty seven-speed S tronic works together with quattro permanent all-wheel drive.
SAFETY
The body of the A7 comprises aluminum and high-tech steels which make it extremely lightweight and safe. The safety features include Audi pre sense rear system, eight modern airbags, side curtains, antilock brakes and stability system with traction control.
